Sign the petition to Ohio’s leaders and tell them to protect students’ scholarships.

Wealthy donors who give millions to Ohio State as endowments trust OSU to invest and spend the earnings on agreed-upon scholarships or distinguished faculty.

But hundreds of students aren’t receiving those scholarships.

Why?

Each year, Ohio State spends as much as $19 million from existing endowments to pay the university’s expenses for “development.”

That’s millions earmarked for scholarships and professors spent instead by OSU on entertaining wealthy potential donors.

The Ohio legislature has the power to fix this by passing commonsense legislation that protects the intent of these endowments and ensures the money is spent on the scholarships and distinguished professors it was intended for by donors.
